Job Description

As an  Armed Security Officer - Government Site in Nashville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This armed post requires professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to teamwork, reflecting our values of agility, innovation, and integrity while putting people first.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred.
  • North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
  • An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
