NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position.

The NPG associate assortment planner owns planning and managing the NPG brand plans, partnering with the Assortment Planners for the division. The NPG associate assortment planner collaborates with the buyer and assortment planner to make sure brand strategies come to life in the financial plans while also achieving sales, product margin and turn goals.

A day in the life

• Support NMG as the liaison with NPG to align on 18-month out department/brand financial plans, which will be leveraged for NPG development plans
• Lead the analysis and use of information to improve the buy, incorporate customer choice, and top item depth recommendations
• Communicate with NPG and NMG partners on in-season business results and actions required of the business that will impact future buy cycles (pre & post season)
• Support NPG and NMG partners with in-season scenario modeling, i.e. sales, profit, and inventory outcomes
• Help monitor RP performance and recommend actions to drive sales or mitigate inventory liabilities

You own this if you have

• 1+ years of experience as an Assistant Assortment Planner and one or more of the following: Financial Planner, Assistant Buyer, Replenishment Buyer
• Experience supporting a high-sales volume category (high SKU count, heavy seasonality, high revenue ($20M+)) preferred
• Experience in a relevant merchandise category preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of retail and the service environment of Nordstrom required

• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite required
• Strong interpersonal skills required

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$92,000.00 - $155,000.00 Annual This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
