The successful candidate will play a vital role in our food manufacturing operations, ensuring all equipment and machinery are operating at peak efficiency. This is a permanent, full-time role that requires an individual with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Equipment Maintenance, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, CPAEX, and CMMS. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and guidance as necessary.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage all maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with other department heads to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory of spare parts and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they lead to major breakdowns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Equipment Maintenance, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and CMMS.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficient in using CMMS and other maintenance-related software.
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is a plus.
