About the role Job Title: Azure Security Engineer Location: Seattle, WA On-site position in the greater Seattle area. Local candidates or relocation required. Relocation assistance is not offered. Primary responsibilities Design and advise regarding security solutions in MS Azure. Conduct security assessments and validations of Azure environments. Develop security policies, procedures, and standards for Azure and M365 environments. Implement and maintain firewalls in Azure. Monitor security alerts and manage incident response for Azure-related security events with the Cyber Defense team. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline. Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX, CMMC, ISO 27001). Draft support documentation, technical standards, and operational processes for the application delivery environment. Establish, optimize, and enhance regulatory and compliance processes. Continuously learn to remain current with evolving application delivery best practices. Complete technical security deliverables on assigned projects. Work independently and as part of a high-functioning team. Location details : This position resides on-site in the greater Seattle area at one of the following locations depending on availability: Downtown Seattle, Lynnwood, Bellevue (Factoria). Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Qualifications Intermediate knowledge of Azure and M365 security practices and networking. Experience collaborating with technical teams (application and infrastructure). Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud security, cloud networking, and Azure Private DNS. Inquisitive, collaborative mindset with a solutions-focused approach. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. Exemplary communication and teamwork, including advocating for security principles to varying backgrounds. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually. Pay may vary by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; long-term and short-term disability; 5 personal days per year; 10-15 days of paid vacation; 6 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per calendar year.
