Job Description

Are you a strong communicator? Can you take loads of information and boil it down to just the facts that a salesperson needs to know? Are you able to tailor your writing and communication based on the audience? Can you juggle multiple tasks at once in a role where no two days are the same?

If the answer to all of those questions is a resounding YES, then it sounds like you’re EXACTLY who we’re looking for to join our Communications team!

We are looking for a candidate who can serve as one of the primary points of contact between several of our partners, our team in the field, and the local dealers we work with all around the country. This role will be responsible for developing relationships with our partners, making sure the relevant information from them gets passed along internally, as well as crafting external messaging to our dealers. The Communications Coordinator will also be in charge of putting together weekly reports to distribute internally and externally.

  • Using information from vendor partners and working in collaboration with DSI's internal training and graphic design teams to maintain vendor-specific resource guides.
  • Reviewing and recommending edits for company communications and materials to ensure a polished and unified message across all channels.
  • Working with the entire Communications team to make sure all company needs are met and communication strategies are being implemented efficiently.
  • Proactively monitor organizational efforts and identify opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness of our go-to-market activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, PR, business, or related field.
  • Experience preferred in communications, marketing, journalism, PR, business, or related field.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, along with the ability to present confidently and knowledgably in front of large and small groups.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Comfortable working alone or as part of a team and always capable of meeting firm deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new topics quickly.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
