Hybrid DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

Aquila Technology is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) automation framework for Java and Python web applications hosted on multiple local, remote, and disconnected networks, running on virtualized secure hosts. Balancing complexity, functionality, and time-to-deliver across multiple stakeholder projects is a key skill mix for this position.

There are a few requirements for the position:

• Must be a U.S Citizen- Authorized to Work in the US - Must have an Active Secret Clearance (Green Cards / Visas DO NOT qualify)
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
• Must be within 100 miles from Lexington, Massachusetts.

What You Will Bring:

• Certification: Security+ Certification
• Clearance Level: Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)
• 3 years - Automation within the development processes
• 3 years - Build infrastructure
• 3 years - Hardware
• 3 years - VMware infrastructure (vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, etc.)
• 5 years - Containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• 5 years - Java
• 5 years - Python
• 5 years - Git
• 5 years - CI/CD with containers/Cloud technologies
• 5 years - Nexus/Artifactory
• 5 years - Jenkins or a similar automation system
• 5 years - Linux Environment

Clearance: Candidates should have an active clearance (secret/top secret, etc.) in order to be considered for this position due to the nature of the work being done. Do not submit candidates if they do not meet this requirement.

Work Location: Place of performance of assignment may be a combination of on-site and remote. The frequency of on-site vs. remote shall be based on the needs during the assignment.

Interview: Procedures will be via video conference and may consist of initial one on one and may advance to panel interview.
