A Coordinator coordinates meal counts with customer counts for each day’s flights. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures assigned flights are reviewed with the customers’ onboard service crew. If required, you may also check the flight inside the unit for the flight being reviewed on the field. Handles calls, keeps logs, communicates problems and delays, and handles relevant paperwork. Communicates with the onboard service staff about flight components, passenger counts, special meals, crew meals, etc. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED preferred, up to one year experience preferred, current U.S. driver’s license, ability to read and write to complete required forms, and effective communication skills. Requirements include working assigned schedules including weekends and holidays, working overtime when required, punctuality, compliance with company policies, completing paperwork and administrative duties, business-like appearance, friendly attitude, ability to work unsupervised in a busy airport, excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and professional customer interaction. Work environment involves exposure to extreme temperature changes and noise, ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds frequently, standing, bending, lifting during 8+ hour shifts, and working at heights up to 25 feet or more depending on aircraft.
