Position Summary
As an Industrial Process Engineer with a focus on magnetics, you will play a critical role in advancing our NdFeB magnet production processes. You will combine your knowledge of industrial engineering and materials science to streamline workflows, improve quality and throughput, and ensure scalable, cost-effective manufacturing aligned with our operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze, optimize and standardize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
· Apply industrial engineering methods (e.g., time studies, process mapping, workflow optimization) to reduce waste and cycle times.
· Lead root cause analyses and drive corrective actions using process performance data and tools
· Conduct and interpret process capability and performance studies; communicate findings to stakeholders.
· Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, Logistics, and Quality to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
· Support implementation of Industry 4.0 or digital manufacturing initiatives where applicable.
Education
· Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
· Experience with Heat Treat/ Sintering preferred.
· Minimum 3 years in an industrial engineering role in a manufacturing setting.
· First experience in process and continuous improvement techniques
· Experienced in Operations Research (OR)
· Hands-on involvement in process improvement and production optimization projects.
Skills & Competencies
· Solid understanding of industrial process engineering, production planning
· Understanding of lean manufacturing and industrial engineering tools.
· Analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills; experience with root cause analysis techniques, incl the use of operations research methods such as linear programming, simulation, and decision modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
· Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
Work Authorization
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
Working Conditions
· Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, heat, and potentially hazardous materials.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, and remain standing or walking for extended periods.
