We’re seeking an iOS Engineer II to join our Trust and Safety engineering team. This team develops features that foster a trustworthy environment on Strava by protecting the physical and emotional safety of our athletes. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to design, develop, and optimize features impacting millions of users worldwide. You will help shape the future of our mobile experience and contribute to Strava’s product evolution. As a subscription-based, consumer-facing business, this role requires empathy with Strava’s community to fuel their long-term happiness and our business impact. We follow a flexible hybrid model, generally requiring about half of your time onsite in our San Francisco office—roughly three days per week. What You’ll Do: Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to build a safe and trustworthy experience for Strava users. Help define the future of the iOS app at Strava. Impact the experience of tens of millions of athletes. Collaborate with a close community of peers in a hybrid work environment. You Will Be Successful Here By: Excelling at user-centric product development. Building beautiful, smooth, delightful mobile experiences. Mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership through forums like tech talks. Using your in-depth iOS knowledge to drive technical discussions across teams. What You’ll Bring to the Team: Experience in full-stack development and building iOS apps with Swift in a production environment. Stay current with and experiment on the latest iOS technologies. Maintain a product-focused mindset to solve real business problems. Enjoy working on all levels of mobile apps—from networking to UI. Expertise in maintainable, testable code, API design, and unit testing. Ability to collaborate with iOS, Android, and Server engineers to ship features. Salaries vary by location and are based on skills, experience, and market conditions. The range for this role is $155,500 to $168,000, excluding benefits and equity.
