Job Description

Summary

The IT Analyst will support our IT department in analyzing and resolving technical issues, assisting in the maintenance and optimization of systems and providing excellent customer service to internal users.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level IT support to employees, diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues. Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of servers, networks, and systems
  • Maintain detailed records of technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference
  • Assist in routine updates, upgrades, and maintenance of systems, including software installations and hardware setup
  • Provide basic IT training to staff members on software tools and best practices.
  • Help gather and analyze IT-related data to identify trends and opportunities for improvements in systems and processes
  • Work with the IT team on various projects, contributing to process improvements and system optimization
  • Assist in monitoring and enforcing IT security protocols, helping to ensure compliance with the company’s security policies
  • Track and manage IT hardware and software inventories, including user licenses and warranties as well as laptops and equipment

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or two years of equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments
  • Basic understanding of networking, databases, and IT security fundamentals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based services, and general hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of basic IT tools and systems (e.g., ticketing systems, Active Directory, VP
