DESCRIPTION:  

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Frontend JavaScript Developer to join our talented team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of user interfaces for critical applications using modern JavaScript technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in JavaScript and an eagerness to learn and grow while working with frameworks and libraries such as AngularJS, TypeScript, SocketIO, and D3.js. You will work closely with senior developers to implement user-facing features and contribute to the overall success of our projects. 

Day-to-day responsibilities and duties include: 

  • Develop and implement user interfaces and frontend components using AngularJS , TypeScript , and core JavaScript
  • Utilize SocketIO to build real-time communication features within web applications. 
  • Implement data visualizations and interactive graphics using the D3.js library. 
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into functional and visually appealing user interfaces. 
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. 
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. 
  • Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend development trends and technologies. 
  • Work effectively within an agile development environment. 
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side APIs. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. 

REQUIREMENTS:  

Applicants MUST  

- must be able to qualify and maintain security clearance.  

 

- have at least 3 years of Frontend Developer experience and have a good understanding of professional business environments. 

- be very friendly and able to calmly handle clients and staff 

- be able to carry themselves in a professional manner  

- be punctual, responsible, and reliable 

- have good written and verbal communication skills (answering the phone and composing emails in a professional manner)

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: From $91,000 per year excluding bonus and benefits. 

Schedule: 

  • The schedule for this position is project driven and can be highly variable depending on project deadlines and the specific needs of the software development teams. 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Weekends as needed
