About The Role
As a Learning Design & Technology Consultant, you'll develop impactful learning solutions in close collaboration with teams across sales, training, marketing, and product. This role combines instructional design, multimedia development, and learning technologies-giving you the opportunity to apply your strengths in creative and meaningful ways. Success in this role comes from leveraging what makes you unique to create learning experiences that are both engaging and effective.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead project scoping, needs/gap analysis, and resource planning in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs
  • Design and develop effective, engaging learning solutions across modalities-including eLearning, video, animation, live/virtual sessions, and performance support tools
  • Apply instructional and visual design principles to create storyboards, interactive experiences, assessments, presentations, and job aids that align with learning objectives
  • Leverage authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud) and apply appropriate development processes to build SCORM-compliant learning activities
  • Create and maintain learning content within LMS platforms, including testing, deployment, and back-end administrative tasks
  • Consult on instructional strategy and technical implementation, offering scalable solutions that align with business needs
  • Simplify and prioritize deliverables for efficiency, quality, and business impact
  • Integrate social and collaborative media to enhance learning engagement
  • Collaborate across teams to manage multiple projects, set clear deadlines, and deliver on-time and on-budget
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
  • Leverage AI tools to design and develop learning content, as well as streamline updates, improve efficiency, and enhance the learning experience
  • Define evaluation strategies and success metrics; develop tools to collect and analyze learning outcomes
  • Conduct both formative and summative evaluations to assess and improve training effectiveness
  • Continuously share best practices and collaborate with peers to elevate content quality and team performance

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years' experience in learning design and development for both online and instructor-led environments
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing instructional design, creativity, and tool proficiency
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and eLearning best practices
  • Experience with needs analysis, task analysis, usability testing, and measurement
  • Skilled in tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects)
  • Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, basic HTML, and LMS platforms (e.g., Docebo, Workday Learning)
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and social/collaborative media in learning contexts
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives independently
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex, cross-functional projects
  • Familiarity with the legal, marketing, or online information industries preferred
  • Be able to travel 1-2 times per year
