Job Title: CAM Analyst – Commercial Property (Yardi / CAM Reconciliation Specialist)

Location: Irvine, CA

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CAM Analyst to join a commercial real estate team in Irvine, CA. The CAM Analyst will play a pivotal role in Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and CAMA reconciliation , ensuring that all tenant recoveries and expense allocations are accurately tracked, calculated, and reported. This role requires advanced proficiency in Yardi Voyager , with a deep understanding of lease abstraction, expense categorization, and reconciliation processes for commercial property portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

CAM/CAMA Reconciliation

• Perform detailed annual CAM and tax reconciliations for a portfolio of commercial assets (office, retail, or industrial).
• Analyze lease terms to determine recoverable vs. non-recoverable expenses and caps, including base years, gross-ups, and expense pools.
• Reconcile actual recoverable operating expenses against tenant billings to identify and correct variances.

Yardi Voyager System Management

• Utilize Yardi Voyager for inputting and maintaining lease data, recurring charges, and expense recoveries.
• Perform audits within Yardi to ensure lease setup accuracy (expense stops, expense groups, charge codes, and recovery structures).

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Track tenant disputes, coordinate with legal or lease administration as needed, and recommend resolution paths.
• Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to support budget preparation, forecasting, and accruals related to recoverable expenses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in CAM/CAMA reconciliation within a commercial real estate environment.
• Advanced experience using Yardi Voyager (required) – especially in commercial CAM modules.
• Strong understanding of lease language, especially clauses related to recoverable expenses, caps, exclusions, gross-ups, and base years.
