Job Description

Our wellness facility is looking for a seasoned massage therapist to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and has experience with varied physical conditions treatable with massage therapy. Responsibilities:

  • Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development
  • Oversee client plans and treatment progression, and maintain accurate treatment records
  • Ensure client needs are met safely using the therapeutic massage technique that corresponds with their needs
  • Assess and advise on each client’s unique needs, taking into consideration their level of stress, physical condition, and medical history, and offer recommendations for types of massage and treatment
Qualifications:
  • Must have licensure that complies with state and local laws
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must have experience in different types of massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, Swedish massage, and reflexology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Completion of a massage therapy program preferred
