WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Hackensack, NJ.

Job Function:

\n

• 5x8.
\n

• Position patients and adjust equipment to capture images as requested by the physician.

  \n
\n

• Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.

  \n
\n

• Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.

  \n
\n

• Monitor and maintain patient safety, comfort, and proper procedure technique throughout imaging.

  \n
\n

• Apply radiation protection practices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.

  \n
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 1 year of experience as a General Radiology Technologist is required.
\n
• Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of imaging equipment.
\n
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
\n
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
\n
