Job Description
Setup, adjust and operate machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations while holding very close tolerance dimensions with minimal assistance. Follow process sheets, standard operating procedures while ensuring best quality and lead times. Work closely with Machine shop supervisors, quality assurance to proactively prevent problem with machining cells and tooling/fixtures, and to identify way to improve efficiency, cost, layout and safety.
Requires at least 2 to 3 years of experience operating CNC machine tools in a fast paced work environment. Ability to set up, adjust and operate all machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations while holding very close tolerances, and with minimal assistance. Good initiative, work ethics and ability to work individually and in team settings. Strong communication skills. Ability to train associates on new processes. Inspection experience a plus.
