Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

A leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its operations team in Bakersfield, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical experience and solid electrical troubleshooting skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as motors, relays, sensors, control panels, and PLCs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and document findings to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety and operational standards.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
• Respond to breakdowns with urgency and precision to minimize production disruptions.

Essential Skills

• Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pumps and motors.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams.
• Electrical experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
