Position Title: Material Handler

Wage: $20.50/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Monitor and request materials and color from storage locations to production lines
- Ensure lines have materials delivered in a timely manner to avoid potential extrusion line shutdowns
- Manage transactions performed by computer or a RF hand scanner such as receipts, moves, counts, reservations and/or other transactions needed
- Scan, apply LP label, and move finished or fabricated products from production lines to correct warehouse/storage locations
- Perform daily forklift inspections
- Reports damage or discrepancies to the Quality Manger and/or Distribution Lead
- Perform non-electronic entries such as scrap with accuracy and date with handwritten entries on paper
- Perform cycle counts, as requested, to ensure inventory accuracy to avoid stock outs
- Re-weigh or recount materials being returned to proper locations
- Assist production as time permits

Requirements for Material Handler:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least three years of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Forklift certification
