Summary: As a Nursing Manager, you are responsible for developing and sustaining an environment that supports excellence in clinical practice and patient care on the designated unit. Your demonstrated leadership and customer service ability is important to departmental success.
Our Department: Hematology/Medical Oncology Unit/Infusion Center is here to provide services required for care of cancer and blood disorders to adults and geriatric inpatients and outpatients. Services include: chemotherapeutics, laboratory studies, bone marrow aspirations and biopsies, infusion, transfusions and consultations. Hospital responsibilities include the medical direction of the Cancer Center. Other ancillary services include navigation, social work, spiritual care and home care service connections.

Education: BS: Nursing (Required)
Licenses/Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Physical Requirements: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
