One of Insight Globals higher education clients is seeking a Casting & Splinting Clinical Instructor specializing in casting and splinting to support its nursing programs hands-on lab intensives. This position focuses on guiding nursing students through casting and splinting techniques to ensure competency in both upper and lower extremity procedures. Ideal candidates hold an active, unencumbered professional license as a Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or MD with relevant orthopedic expertise. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Lead in-person lab sessions focusing on casting and splinting techniques. Work intermittently based on lab scheduling needstypically twice per month with sessions scheduled between 8 AM - 4 PM (flexible within this range). Ensure students develop proficiency in real-world application of casting and splinting. Must-Haves: Active, unencumbered professional licensure (NP, PA, or MD with board certification in orthopedics preferred). Demonstrated competency in casting and splinting (both upper and lower extremities preferred), specifically in Ortho-Glass materials. Experience working in a clinical setting with orthopedic patients. Ability to effectively instruct and guide students through hands-on techniques. Plusses: Prior instructional or teaching experience. Exposure to simulation-based training in healthcare education. Additional Details: On-site instruction at the clients lab in Millcreek. Sessions scheduled on a flexible basis, with upcoming dates in June, July, August, and September. Insight Global
