Job Description

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Private Equity Associate to join our investment team. The Associate will play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing private equity investments across a range of industries. This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, portfolio companies, and the full investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment Analysis & Due Diligence

    • Conduct financial modeling, valuation (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis), and sensitivity analysis.
    • Perform industry research, market sizing, and competitive landscape assessments.
    • Support due diligence efforts including coordination with legal, accounting, and operational advisors.
  • Deal Execution

    • Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
    • Participate in deal structuring, negotiations, and documentation processes.
  • Portfolio Management

    • Monitor portfolio company performance through financial reporting and KPI tracking.
    • Support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and value creation plans.
    • Collaborate with management teams and board members on business planning and growth strategies.
  • Sourcing & Market Intelligence

    • Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities through proactive sourcing and networking.
    • Maintain relationships with investment banks, advisors, and industry experts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
