We're Hiring: Private Equity Associate – Lower Middle Market | Southeast US

Our client – a well-established, fast-growing lower middle market private equity firm – is actively seeking a Private Equity Associate to join their lean and high-impact deal team. This is a rare opportunity to work hands-on across the full deal lifecycle, contribute meaningfully from day one, and grow within a collaborative, high-performance culture.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct end-to-end deal execution including financial modeling, due diligence, and investment committee preparation
• Work closely with senior team members on evaluating and executing platform and add-on acquisitions
• Engage directly with management teams and support portfolio company strategy
• Support fundraising and investor communications as needed

💡 What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of investment banking or private equity experience (lower middle market exposure is a plus)
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
• Interest in working across a generalist portfolio with a bias toward business services
• Based in or open to relocating to Charlotte, NC
