Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring two skilled PRN Medical Assistan t to support our Nurse Practitioner while also managing front desk and receptionist duties. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, compassionate individual who thrives in a dynamic role and loves helping others. If you’ve got strong communication skills and a knack for multitasking, this could be your perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
Assist the Nurse Practitioner with minor procedures
Assess conditions and provide preventative care and patient education
Take vital signs and document accurately in our EMR system
Verify insurance and collect payment from patients
Greet patients, manage check-ins, and handle scheduling at the front desk
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with the care team
Support a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and staff
What You Bring
Certified Medical Assistant credential (required)
1+ years of experience with vital signs (preferred)
1+ years working with EMR systems (required)
BLS Certification (preferred)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for patient care
The Pay Range For This Role Is
15 - 18 USD per hour(Jackson, Mississippi)
