Job Title: CNC & Robotic Equipment Technician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: 23/hour
Shift: 1st

Also have 2nd shift Mon-Friday

Type: Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced CNC & Robotic Equipment Technician to join our high-tech manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain a wide range of advanced production and robotic equipment used in multiple manufacturing phases. This is a hands-on position that requires mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and the ability to work from detailed blueprints and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, robotic systems, and automated production equipment, including robotic grit blast, furnaces, coating booths, laser cutters, milling machines, and welding stations.

• Interpret and work from detailed drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.

• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and minor repairs (changing nozzles, checking oil levels, replacing filters).

• Operate material handling devices such as jib cranes, bridge cranes, and forklifts to load/unload materials.

• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other tools to ensure parts meet close tolerances.

• Complete detailed operational records and documentation for quality control.

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience operating CNC machinery, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Proficient in using precision measuring tools and performing measurement conversions.

• Experience with stainless alloys, welding inspection, and electrical schematics is preferred.

• Forklift and crane operation experience (certification preferred, can be obtained on the job).

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.

• U.S. Citizenship or Canadian Citizenship required.

Pay Details: 23.00 per hour
