Overview The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Psychology tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students. Accept instant tutoring requests when you’re available. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise. Leverage our AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support and engagement features. Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments. Qualifications Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Psychology with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred. Compensation & Perks Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential earnings up to $40/hour for ongoing sessions with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote tutoring with no commuting required. AI-enhanced tools to save prep time and support teaching effectiveness.
