Job Description

Tiello has partnered with a leading EC who is looking for an Electrical Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing electrical safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. This role ensures that electrical systems, installations, and maintenance procedures are performed safely and efficiently, minimizing risk to personnel, property, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain electrical safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and other applicable electrical safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct electrical safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at facilities and project sites.
  • Provide expert guidance on safe electrical design, installation, maintenance, and repair practices.
  • Lead investigations of electrical incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Develop and deliver electrical safety training for employees, contractors, and supervisors.
  • Work with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure safe design and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Maintain documentation of electrical safety programs, incidents, inspections, and training records.
  • Coordinate with external regulatory agencies and auditors during inspections or audits.
  • Stay up to date with changes in electrical safety standards and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical safety or industrial safety management.
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA electrical safety standards, and LOTO procedures.
  • Certification such as Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP), CSP, or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and training skills.
  • Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

Work Environment:

  • Office and field/site work, including industrial, commercial, or construction settings.
  • May involve occasional travel to company facilities or job sites.
