Job Title: Construction Safety Officer

Location: Blythewood, SC

Job Type: Full-time, 18 month contract (with extensions)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and enforce safety protocols on a large-scale construction project.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety management, preferably in commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work overtime hours and weekends as needed.
• Certification in Construction Safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, CSP) is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field is a plus.

Compensation : $80,000-100,000
