Handcrafted Wines is a family-owned fine wine and spirits distributor servicing the full state of Oregon. Our loyal customers range from national restaurants and grocery retailers to independent bottle shops, liquor stores and fine dining establishments. Handcrafted Wines is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Wine Sales Representative for Central Oregon that would include areas of Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, Sisters. The ideal candidate will have experience selling throughout the three tier system. The sales territory is well established with additional room to grow and is supported with separate regular multi-day weekly delivery service.

A successful person in this position will maintain and increase sales among active customers while regularly prospecting the area for new opportunities. Active customers in this territory range from large national chain retailers to golf clubs, local specialty shops, fine dining establishments and liquor stores. The candidate must have a working knowledge of wine regions and styles and the ability to sell wines to customers who have a wide range of experience. This position reports to the Director of Sales. The candidate must have the ability to work independently and manage their time effectively with minimal supervision. Organization, product knowledge and humility are the keys to success. Ideal candidates will bring industry contacts and relationships beneficial to building new business.

Applicants will:ALL\tHave at least 2 years of experience in fine wine and/or spirits sales. Wholesale experience preferred. Retail, restaurant and/or hospitality experience will also be considered.
\tDesire and ambition to "cold call" and follow up on new prospects.
\tWork with the District Sales Manager, Director of Sales, producers and supplier representatives to organize restaurant staff training, in-store demos, winemaker dinners, industry tastings and other promotional events.
\tBe willing and able to work some evenings and weekends in support of sales and marketing events.
\tHave a knowledge of and passion for wine.
\tHave reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
\tBe able to carry 40lbs for up to 50 feet.
\tHave a computer and demonstrate basic skills in Google Office Suite and Microsoft Office.
\tBe dependable, reliable and honest.
\tBe self-motivated and have excellent time-management skills.
\tHave superior professional communication skills both written and verbal.
\tHave a positive attitude and desire to work with colleagues to continually improve our company and cultivate business in your territory.

Ideal Applicants will have:
\tExcellent wine and spirits knowledge (please mention any relevant certifications and/or experiences).
\tAbility to gauge wine knowledge/tastes of the customer and suggest appropriate selections from our portfolio.
\tExperience with Encompass CRM/ERP operating platform.
\tExperience with Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator and Adobe programs.
\tHave pre-existing relationships with customers in this territory.
