As a Security Professional - Government Patrols in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Security Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication skills support positive interactions with visitors and staff. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This post requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving responsibilities are part of the role.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
