As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, communicate clearly with team members, and use technology such as computers or tablets to document your activities. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any unusual activity.
• Collaborate with store management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license in the job state and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
