Pay Range: $100 - $105 per hour on W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Data Platform Support Analyst to oversee technical troubleshooting, provide primary technical support to our end user community on a comprehensive data lake house hosted in a cloud environment, and maintain oversight of application support for new releases. This role involves collaborating closely with our platform engineering, analytics, and product teams to implement process improvements, automate support operations, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will also generate reports on system performance, manage documentation for training and support processes, and foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex integrated systems using technologies such as R/SparklyR, Pyspark, Databricks, and Python in a cloud environment.
• Provide primary technical support for software, data issues, and communication errors to the end user community.
• Maintain and oversee application and production support for new releases, including application testing strategies and documentation.
• Develop and implement support processes, procedures, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of support operations.
• Collaborate with training team to develop end-user training sessions and guides; mentor technical support staff.

Must-Have Skills:

• Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience with data models in Databricks, SparklyR, Pyspark, and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to perform independent research, develop creative solutions, and make informed recommendations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to facilitate effective training sessions.

Industry Experience:

• Preference for candidates with a strong background in Cloud Computing and Data Management.
• Experience working within highly matrixed or virtual organizations is valuable.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to be on call from 11am-5pm PT Monday through Friday.
• Legally classified as a Protected Individual as defined, due to access to confidential supervisory information.
