We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and security of AWS resources.

  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

  • Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and features.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the Degree)

  • 8 years of overall cloud and/or IT experience

  • 3 years of AWS experience

  • Experience as an AWS Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.

  • Experience with three or more of the following AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).

  • Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

  • Certifications:


    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate

    • AWS Certified Security – Specialty

    • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of  California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia is:

$115,500 - $186,900 USD
