The Software User Experience Quality Team specializes in simulating our customer's software user experience across our most popular products. We do this to ensure we are shipping high-quality software that meets our customer's expectations. We perform functional and user-centric testing on iOS and macOS, with a focus on the overall customer experience of using our products. You will provide perspective and guidance on how it feels to use our products to help us deliver the best possible experiences. As a member of our fast-paced group in Software Quality, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape and improve the software that allows our products to delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day.
You'll join a dynamic and fast-paced team of functional testing engineers to ensure that our software meets the high-quality bar Apple is known for. Part of your responsibilities will include testing like a user while being vigilant about every issue that is encountered during a test pass. You will become extremely fine-tuned in assessing the impact of each bug on a customer's overall product experience. You will process results, draw important conclusions and present impactful data to our internal partners. You will gather user data telemetry and update existing user flows. You must be flexible and able to bounce between varied tasks efficiently. You must have a passion for exceptional user experience and a dedication to delivering the highest quality products for both our customers and our stakeholders.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $96,200 and $187,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
