• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts\n
• Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)\n
• On-Call: Rotating after-hours call with required Sunday rotation\n
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2330 - $2500\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas – Texas RN jobs\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required\n
• Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, or previous Cath/EP Lab experience) preferred\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)\n
• Resume and skills checklist completed within the last year\n
• Two supervisory references from within the last year\n
• Proof of taxable address (driver's license, utility bill, lease/rental agreement, etc.)\n
• Disclosure of any previous Parkland employment history required\n
• Willingness to obtain required certifications if not currently active\n
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required\n

\n\nCath Lab RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Coordinate and deliver patient care in the Cardiac Labs using the nursing process\n
• Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans\n
• Implement and evaluate patient care, ensuring safe transitions throughout the healthcare encounter\n
• Delegate interventions appropriately based on patient condition and team competencies\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality cardiac care\n
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call rotations as scheduled\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional nursing standards\n
