Job Description

Job Title: Applications Developer (Node.js/ Python/ Angular.js)

Location : New York, NY

Duration : 6+ months with possible extension

Rate : $65 to $80/hr on W2 - little Negotiable for right candidate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in both front-end and back-end technologies, writes clean and efficient code, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
Write clean, maintainable code for both client- and server-side components.
Debug and optimize applications for performance and user experience.
Ensure responsive, mobile-friendly designs.
Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
Participate in Agile development, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of web application security best practices.
