We are currently seeking civically minded individuals with basic computer and organizational skills to join our team as Temporary Election Support Staff. This position offers an opportunity to provide essential administrative support during the upcoming election period.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Temporary Election Support Staff
• Pay Rate: $14/hour
• Duration: Approximately 5 weeks (may vary between 3 to 6 weeks)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Location: Fort Myers, FL
• Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time, Temporary

General Description:

The Temporary Election Support Staff will assist in various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient election process, including providing excellent customer service and supporting administrative functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist guests with election-related inquiries and provide information
• Research voter information and handle confidential data appropriately
• Sort and count ballots accurately and efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the election process
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Support other administrative tasks as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Basic organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual is a plus but not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Be a registered voter in Lee County or willing to register
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods
