Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to support our client's fast-paced and growing company in the hospitality industry.

This role is responsible for overseeing a wide range of HR functions, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and supporting a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and bring a people-first approach to human resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Culture & Engagement : Foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace across all teams; attend major events to support staff and represent HR.
  • Team Support & Communication : Act as a resource for employees, encouraging open dialogue and sharing frontline feedback with leadership to enhance morale and retention.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding : Manage job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and oversee onboarding for seasonal, event-based, and admin hires.
  • Compliance Oversight : Ensure hiring practices follow all labor laws; manage required postings, documentation, I9 compliance, and workers comp.
  • Recordkeeping & Attendance : Maintain accurate personnel records, monitor attendance trends, and manage incident reporting and return-to-work processes.
  • HR Reporting : Generate key HR reports for senior leadership.
  • Strategic HR Support : Partner with leadership to strengthen internal communication, workforce planning, and employee experience initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 7+ years' experience in Human Resources, direct experience with HR compliance
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
