Description Evening Industrial Janitor Needed Evening hours, Monday - Friday (OT to be expected) Will train for 1-2 weeks on 1st Shift. Janitor needed for Industrial Work Environment. Responsible for general cleaning of the facility. Maintains a safe, neat, orderly accident free work environment, including all warehouse work areas, aisles, trucks, etc. Daily cleaning scheduled will include but not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms, breakrooms and commonly used areas. Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms Maintaining inventory cleaning supplies & tools Janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility at Berg Steel Pipe. You'll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms with soapy water. In addition to maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and emptying trash. The ideal candidate has ability to work independently with a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done. Janitor Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs #Remedyjobs Requirements Include: Pre-employment background check and drug screen (no medical marijuana cards accepted). Must be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials) This position is physically demanding. Requires repetitive motion and heavy lifting.
