Finance Intern to join our team at our Home Office in Dallas, TX.
Position Summary:
As a Finance Intern, youll gain hands-on experience in financial operations and analysis within a thriving retail organization. Youll support daily financial processes, assist in reporting and analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a strong understanding of business finance in a real-world setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Support the month-end close process and preparation of financial statements
- Analyze variances in budgets and forecasts
- Conduct research and compile data for ad hoc financial projects
- Maintain documentation and organization of financial records
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting
- Provide general support to the Finance Department as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills: experience with financial systems or software is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work on-site at the Dallas, TX Home Office 5 days a week
