Job Description

Role: Technical Project Manager Location: Hybrid in PA / Remote for the right candidate We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead a Salesforce implementation initiative from the ground up for one of our key clients. This role requires a hands-on leader who can translate business needs into technical execution, drive the implementation roadmap, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure the successful deployment of Salesforce across multiple teams. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including business stakeholders, Salesforce architects, developers, and AWS/cloud infrastructure teams—to ensure delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned to business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end Salesforce implementation from inception to go-live for a manufacturing client, including scope definition, resource planning, solution delivery, and post-deployment support. Drive project budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting to ensure financial discipline and project profitability. Oversee workforce planning, team resourcing, and vendor coordination to ensure alignment with project milestones. Act as a Salesforce advocate and change agent, inspiring business and technical teams to adopt scalable solutions that unlock value for the client. Collaborate with internal Solutions and Platform teams to translate business needs into architectural specs aligned with the broader Salesforce product roadmap. Facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business objectives, current-state processes, and desired outcomes. Be able to communicate at various levels from shop floor to c-suite levels. Define and manage the project roadmap, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with executive stakeholders and implementation partners. Ensure solution design supports business process automation, data integrity, and measurable client outcomes. Manage cross-functional delivery teams, providing oversight across development, configuration, testing, and data migration efforts. Own all project communications, including status reports, steering committee updates, and escalation management. Promote best practices in Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies, ensuring transparent tracking of progress, backlog grooming, and sprint planning. Support user training and change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption and knowledge transfer. Collaborate with client leadership to ensure alignment with their strategic priorities, while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement and platform optimization. Must-Have Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, with a strong track record of leading Salesforce implementations in Sales and Marketing cloud. Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and customization best practices. Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and cloud integration patterns. Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience managing external vendors or implementation partners. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Prior experience working with or for manufacturing clients or industrial operations. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, PMP, or Scrum Master). Familiarity with CPQ, Field Service, or ERP integrations in Salesforce. Familiarity with Agentforce, Certified in RCA / Agentforce / MGF Cloud great to have.
