Position: Head Of Utilities

Location: Onsite | Brownsdale, MN

Salary Range: $130K – $180K

Overview:

An established public utility provider is seeking a forward-thinking and experienced executive to lead its multi-service operations. Reporting to a Board of Commissioners, the General Manager will set strategic direction and oversee all aspects of the organization’s electric, water, and gas services. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring operational excellence, community responsiveness, and long-term sustainability.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Public Administration.
• 10+ years of experience, ideally in a utility or public sector setting.
• Strong leadership background with cross-departmental oversight.
• Budgeting, financial acumen, and strategic planning expertise.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and modern technology deployment in operations.
• Excellent communication, public relations, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to be active in the community and industry associations (5–10% travel).
